"We’ve used Altera's Quartus II software to help develop a Stratix FPGA-based design for the WVR7100 Digital and Composite Waveform Rasterizer, a product that requires high performance for the confidence monitoring of high-definition, standard-definition, and composite video signals. The LogicLock^TM tool in the Quartus II software enabled us to achieve an internal clock rate of over 125 MHz in a large and complicated Stratix design using the slowest speed grade device. LogicLock is the most powerful and easy-to-use fitting and timing closure tool I’ve seen for programmable logic design."
