This block diagram shows the layout of the Constellation-FLEX 10K board.
Description
The Constellation prototype board can operate in a stand-alone configuration or can be easily connected to single board computers and other subsystems using the "snap together" design of the PC/104 standard. This modularity provides plug-and-play access to any PC/104-compliant device, such as high speed analog to digital and digital to analog converters, creating a base development system for communication, signal processing, data acquisition, control, automatic test equipment, and graphics accelerators.
Constellation is fully compatible with the ISA standard and can be inserted into any 16-bit ISA slot using the companion adapter card. It can be reconfigured directly from the host computer to accelerate applications or to process data directly with supercomputer performance.
