Description
The Nios 2.0 OCD Solutions Kit is a full-featured debugging solution for the Nios embedded processor. Included in the kit is an SSRAM memory card that plugs into the PMC headers on the Nios development board and connects to the host platform using the serial cable (included in kit).
Designers can set breakpoints and view trace information directly in the Cygwin environment by using the Insight debug application included in the Nios 2.0 OCD Solutions Kit. This application provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for the GNU debugger (.gdb) and has been modified for use with the SSRAM debugging module.
