PC104+ SYS — Data Acquisition/Processing & Prototyping PC104/Plus Board
Running on the PC104+ bus and leaning on PLDA 32-bit 33MHz PCI IP core-proven expertise, the PC104+ SYS development board can be mounted with six different APEX™ devices and features up to 1M*32 bits synchronous SRAM and 256K*32 bits user FLASHPROM. It provides a quick and ruggedized prototyping platform to FPGA or ASIC designers. It can also be used at the system level in applications, including processing (nIOs), test and measurement, or data acquisition in various industries, including components manufacturing, physical sciences, aerospace, and military.

- Powerful Altera® FPGA, from APEX 20K200 to APEX 20K1000
- Includes a PLDA 32/64-bit PCI IP Core free license for exclusive use with the board
- 1M x 32-bit synchronous SRAM
- 256K x 32-bit user FlashPROM
- Two different configurations can be stored, using Altera ByteBlaster™ or other included configuration module software
- Four user LEDs
- Two RS232 interfaces
- 88 LVTTL I/Os available on PC/104 connector
- Four optoelectronic inputs for triggering

Deliverables
The board ships pre-loaded with example applications and the PCI core libraries. Additional deliverables are also included in the core package, and include:
- Various wizards for customizing the core, creating constraint files, or creating testbench templates
- A software kit with PCI C-API and GUI applications for monitoring and exercising PCI agents
- Reference applications that demonstrate DMA operation, slave accesses, CardBus features, etc.
- Experienced worldwide support via e-mail, phone, fax, and web
A software development kit, including a reusable PCI device driver, is also available as an option to PC104+ SYS board purchases.
