Overview
System Level Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. (SLS), an emerging technology firm, provides an extensive portfolio of intellectual property (IP), software, and test and measurement solutions for products in enterprise, industrial, automotive, and embedded systems markets.
Furthermore, as an original design manufacturer (ODM), SLS provides critical engineering services including FPGA design, system-on-a-chip (SoC) design, device driver development, embedded software development, and high-speed PCB design—a one-stop shop for design services.
From a business model point of view, SLS specifically focuses on providing solutions for Altera® FPGAs. SLS doesn’t just provide the IP, each SLS IP component ships with a reference board (if needed), a Nios® II embedded processor reference application, a Windows reference driver with an application program interface (API), and a Windows application example. In addition, the IP component is SOPC Builder ready. SLS's capability, that extends beyond the average IP provider to support an end-customer from concept to board design to IP design to final product, differentiates SLS from other companies.
One such capability, PCB design, allows customers to extend their design beyond the development board via the Santa Cruz I/O connector. Currently, SLS offers snap-on boards for USB 1.1, USB 2.0, Ethernet 10/100, analog-to-digital converters (ADCs)/digital-to-analog converters (DACs), stepper motor control, LED Matrix, and I2S/AC97.
SLS constantly strives to help clients achieve aggressive time-to-market requirements by delivering SOPC Builder-ready IP components plus the software, boards, and support contracts, all at a reasonable price.
