- Bitstream output format: NAL packets with full headers, fit for transport layers (MPEG-2 TS, RTP/RTSP) and file storage (MP4)
- Bitstream output maximum rate: 10 Mbps
- Audio management: loop-through with time stamp (easy A/V synchronization by external host)
Description
ATEME's ATE4000 intellectual property (IP) core is a complete MPEG-4 AVC H.264 Encoder that transforms input video in YUV 4:2:0, and compresses it in Main Profile to generate a regulated bitstream compliant with the ISO/IEC14496-10 specification, up to Level 3.
This core integrates all H.264 tools in VHDL and all the necessary I/O for a complete stand-alone solution. Only external DDR and flash memory are needed.
