Can I use the EPM7064AE device configuration controller on the Nios development board to configure FLEX® and ACEX® devices?
说明
The Nios development board uses the MAX® device as the configuration controller to send configuration data from the flash memory to the APEX device. The APEX device has an internal oscillator, which provides the start-up clock. The start-up clock provides additional clock cycles to initialize the device afterCONF_DONE goes high.
When configuring FLEX and ACEX devices using the configuration device in a parallel synchronous (PS) or passive parallel synchronous (PPS) scheme, the internal oscillator is disabled. An external source must supply the initialization clock cycles on the DCLK pin after CONF_DONE goes high. Therefore, if you want to use the configuration controller provided with the Nios Development board to configure FLEX or ACEX devices, you must modify the configuration controller so it provides the extra DCLK cycles after CONF_DONE goes high. ACEX and FLEX devices require a maximum of 10 DCLK cycles after CONF_DONE goes high.
