Why does the Quartus software II version 8.0 SP1 fail to launch when running on Linux?

说明

The Quartus®  II software for Linux version 8.0 SP1 and earlier may not launch correctly when a new desktop session is started on machines with non-US locales installed. 

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in the next release of the Quartus II software, and is related to the third-party MainWin software.

A patch is available to fix this problem, download and install patch 1.37 for the Quartus II software version 8.0 SP1 on Linux.
