DSP Reference Designs
Altera provides a number of reference designs that are useful to designers of FPGA-based digital signal processing (DSP) solutions. The reference designs (shown in Table 1) are no-cost and are in clear VHDL or Verilog text. They can be used as an experiment platform, a design starting point, or as a reference. Designers can use Altera® reference designs to focus on innovative new solutions and to differentiate their products from competitors. This can help reduce time-to-market for the customer.
Notes to Table 1:
- DSSS = direct sequence spread spectrum
- FIR = finite impulse response
- DDC = digital down converter
- DAC = digital-to-analogue converter
